Staatssecretaris Knops informeert de Tweede Kamer over de uitfasering van de antivirussoftware van Kaspersky bij de zelfstandige bestuursorganen (zbo’s) en de Hoge Colleges van Staat. Alleen de Waarderingskamer van de Nederlandse Rijksoverheid gebruikt nog Kaspersky als beveiligingssoftware en dat zal nog tot eind 2020 zo blijven. Bij alle overige onderdelen is Kaspersky niet of niet meer in gebruik. In mei 2018 deed de overheid de software in de ban.

Bijzonder wel dat de beveiligingssoftware van Kaspersky (overal) in de ban gaat nadat ze in 2017 staatsmalware in handen kregen..

Now with the war it is a difficult issue? But Kaspersky is only a procuct of an Russian company. As a former malware researcher, I've used many tools from Ksaperksy Labs.
1. TDSS Killer: (This was one of the best tools to deal with the TDL rootkits and/or other bootkits).
2. Their tools to decrypt files - like the tools of Emsisoft were great as well, when it icame to ransomware infections.
